In purple cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine (boards just a little rounded at spine ends and corners, ripple in spine cloth). Small mark on top corner of front endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust jacket (by Christopher Cornford), very slightly rubbed at spine ends, with small portions missing from top corners of front and rear inner flaps, and small, mild mark on front inner flap.
