Not dated but circa 1930. 68pp, with twelve beautiful colour painted plate illustrations. In beige cloth boards with red lettering (boards are strong, square and clean, just a little rounded at spine tips). Minor flecking on text block edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, illustrated dust jacket (price clipped, showing a little shelf wear and a few minor marks, small chip on upper edge). Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Blackie's Beautiful Scotland series of books were illustrated volumes providing an admirable record of what was considered some of the most worthy of attention in some of the fairest places in the land; each one has 12 reproductions of water-colour paintings by E W Haslehurst, accompanied by a descriptive commentary. Slim 8vo.
