252pp, with numerous plate illustrations, including lovely double page spread reproducing an 18th century print of the Freemason's School and associated buildings near the Royal Circus. In bright green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering. 8vo. Boards just a little rounded at spine ends. Presentation plate on front paste down indicating the volume was presented to Brother J B Kearsey, in thanks for his role as a steward at the 166th Anniversary Festival. Colour reproduction of the Armorial Bearings of Sir Sidney White, president of the festival, opposite. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket (a little bumped and chipped on edges). Year book for the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls, incorporating the Royal Masonic School for Girls at Rickmansworth Park and the Royal Masonic Junior School for Girls at Weybridge in Surrey, with various articles on the history of institution etc. An invitation to the 164th Masonic Anniversary Festival in 1952, loosely laid in.
