They present, in chronological order, many of the most exciting exploits in the adventurous career of Horatio Hornblower, C S Forester's naval hero of the Nelson epoch. This volume contains selections from Mr Midshipman Hornblower and Lieutenant Hornblower, selected for younger readers. Although most will want to read the whole set, each volume can be enjoyed as a story in itself.
