Complete edition. 272pp, plus black and white plate illustrations. In brown cloth boards with gilt titles on spine (boards a little rubbed on corners and spine tips, a little faded). Internally a little spotting on endpapers, else neat, clean and bright. In its original dust jacket (jacket is bumped and chipped on edges, crumpled with short tears and creasing at head of spine, a few mild marks, discoloured in places). 8vo. Dust jacket now protected in a Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Describes as a complete herbal giving safe and simple cures for all the frequent ailments of the dog, including distemper and hard pad, telling how to prepare them; but which puts much emphasis on prevention of disease.
