Not dated but likely late 1980s. 48pp, numerous black and white illustrations. In illustrated and glazed card covers (a little worn, flat crease along centre; internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A good overview of the history of Heckmondwike, near Dewsbury, and its associations with the heavy textile industry, with many old photographs of the village and its inhabitants reproduced.
