Undated (circa 1890). 502pp, eight colour plates (inc. frontispiece). Rebound in red cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. 8vo.  Sun faded spine, lightly bumped spine ends. Text block edges speckled red. Rear of plated foxing, four of the plates water damaged top corner. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Illustrated with eight colour portraits and upwards of 120 wood engravings.
