Colour printed leaflet (two leaves) issuing a call for blood donors from the Blood Transfusion Service following the end of the second world war. Slightly faded, gently rounded on corners, and a few mild marks on verso. Contains brief details of the need for blood, a Q&A for potential donors and an enrolment form. The back cover folds to envelope to mail the form back to the Regional Blood Transfusion Officer and the slogan 'The Need for Blood did not end with the War - we must keep the Blood Transfusion Service going!'. A rare survival of ephemera from the immediate post-war years and the very early days of the National Health Service. 8vo.
