xxxii, 746pp, thirty-five tissue-guarded black and white plates. Half bound in blue leather over blue cloth-covered boards, gilt coat of arms on front, gilt titles on spine. Heavily worn covers, leather rubbed at extremities. Text block edge gilt; remaining edges marbled. Marbled endpapers. Gift presentation plate on front paste down. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has very light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price clipped. Printed for private circulation and with a presentation plate to front pastedown naming Herbert George Young Esq. 27 April 1876. The compiler had frequent occasion to examine into the old Records of the Fraternity, and in doing so came to the conclusion that some of these would, if printed, be a valuable contribution to civic if not general history. . 8vo.
