First edition, first impression. 160pp. In red cloth-covered boards. 12mo. An ex-library copy with heavy library and discard markings. Boards a little rubbed at edges, text block edges toned, marks on front endpapers, large 'withdrawn' stamp on title page and library stamp on copyright page. In its original dust jacket, a little rubbed at spine ends, and protected in plastic sleeve (which has been taped to endpapers). Jacket design by Norma. In this, the first Pilgrim novel, Joe Pilgrim may be only person who can bring in a man-killer, while a women is menaced and her children at risk. Now out of print and a hard to find title.
