2nd impression (in the same year as the first impression). 116pp, with line drawings throughout. In green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Cloth is a little faded, gently rubbed and rounded at extreme corners and spine ends. Endpapers mildly tanned. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1935, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper, a little bumped and lightly chipped at corners and spine ends, small bump on lower edge. Dust wrapper now protected in a Mylar-style protective clear sleeve. A lovely vintage volume with tales of tadpoles for children, elegantly illustrated, and now very hard to find, especially in this condition.
