Undated (circa 1940). x, 224pp, four black and white plate illustrations (inc. frontispiece). Blue cloth-covered boards, black titles on spine. 12mo. Scuffing to front and rear boards. Sun-faded spine with mottling; bumping and scuffing to spine ends. Rubbing and rounding to corners; light bump to bottom edge of front board. Slightly shelf-cocked. Dusty top text block edge; foxing to remaining edges. Gift inscription on front free endpaper (dated Christmas 1941). Endpapers tanned and foxing. Internally neat, clean, tight and bright, barring occasional foxing.
