160pp, iii; some black and white illustrations. Red cloth-covered boards, pictorial label on front, black titles to spine. 12mo. Light sun fading and wear to spine with ends rubbed and rounded. Top corners rounded. Front paste-on lightly soiled with some small loss to edges and side. Publishers adverts at front and back of book, including both pastedowns. This has resulted in glue residue tanning the free endpapers. Previous owner's name and '3D' on title page. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Part of the "Work" Handbook Series, this little book gives guidance, with illustrations, on numerous wood finishes such as wax polishing, French polishing and staining.
