Undated (circa 1880s). 384pp. Later binding of quarter bound red cloth over marbled paper, gilt titles on black spine label. 8vo. Heavy sun-fading to spine, backstrip almost torn off (being held on by 2cm cloth at both joints). Sun-fading to top edges of boards; heavy wear overall, binding loose. Top text block edge dusty; all edges tanned, affecting page margins. Light foxing to endpapers, front free endpaper has been removed. Previous owner's details on first page. Original front cover and title page heavily tanned. Gutter strained near beginning of book and 2 pages loose. Internally text block lightly tanned otherwise neat and clean.
