xxii, 334pp, 57 photographic plates (inc. coloured frontispiece). Blue cloth-covered boards with white lettering on front and spine, inlaid photo of collie on front. 12mo. Spine ends rubbed and rounded with minor cloth wear. Moderate sun-fading to spine. Boards have minor shelf wear with back corners lightly bumped and rounded, front corners starting to fray. Text block edges moderately tanned and foxed, top edge a little dusty. Moderate foxing to front and endpapers, embossed owner's stamp to front free endpaper. Internally this is a neat, clean, bright and tight volume barring some occasional spotting. A lovely book giving details of the various breeds of dogs and a practical guide for everyone who keeps a dog.
