First edition, later printing. 144pp, plus publisher's catalogue at rear. Monochrome plate frontispiece and five further plate illustrations. In illustrated cloth-covered boards with illustrations front and spine. Decorated endpapers. 12mo. Cloth a little worn all over, corners and spine ends are rubbed and rounded with some discolouration around the edges of the boards, a few marks. There is a presentation plate, dated 1902, on the front pastedown endpaper, front hinge cracked, but otherwise the interior is clean, neat, bright and tight.
