First edition, first printing. 74pp, plus unpaginated full page black and white plate illustrations throughout. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the spine. 8vo. Minor rubbing on corners, and on the spine head and tail. Minimal spotting on text block edges. Previous owner's inscription on the front pastedown and free endpapers. Minor cracking on rear hinge. Infrequent spotting throughout, but otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight. The dust cover has a large tear on the front, stemming from the bottom of the spine but without any resulting loss. The rear is slightly stained. The spine head has minimal loss.
