viii, 104pp. Blue cloth-covered boards. 12mo. Very minor rubbing on corners, and rubbed and rounded spine head and tail. Upper text block edge darkened. Internally, the front free endpaper is creased, with small loss on the top corner. The full title page has shelf numbers written in. Front hinge cracked. The rear pastedown endpaper has a library sticker, catalogue card holder, and stamp. 4pp supplement, describing changes since the publishing of the book, loosely laid in. Otherwise the book is neat, clean, bright and tight. The dust jacket is covered in an old plastic sleeve, with a small crease on the title and bottom edge, sunned around spine. It also has small ink written numbers on the spine.

This book discusses what is to be a surveyor; what the job is, and the various types of surveying jobs.
