Unpaginated but circa 200 pages. In maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine; each page is richly illuminated and decorated, with further full page colour plate illustrations. In its original illustrated dust jacket and presented in a matching slipcase. Previous owner's gift inscription opposite title page and small hint of shadow around the top right corner of the title page, else volume and jacket are neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. The slipcase has some very gentle shelf wear around corners and spine tips. One of the most handsome, lavish editions of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam with text in English, Persian, German and French.
