Second edition, reprint. xii, 332pp, with many black and white illustrations and 9 plans, two of which fold out. In blue cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on front and spine. Boards are rubbed at edges, a little chipped on joints, a little marked and scuffed on verso. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper, some minor spotting on endpapers, else internally neat, clean and tight. An extensive and detailed account of the Cutty Sark, the only surviving extreme clipper built to carry tea from China to England. A handsome volume, despite its flaws.
