Stanley Firmin, the well-known crime correspondent for the Daily Telegraph, draws on a life time of experience in crime reporting to throw new light on the subject of murder and those who commit it. In a lively and vivid style he tells the stories of murders who got away with it, deals with the mind of the murderer and discussed unsolved murders and discloses little-known details of how Scotland Yard murderer-catching machine worked.
