First edition. 140pp, black and white illustrated frontispiece, 7 black and white plates, further illustrations in text. Cream cloth-covered boards with brown titles on front and spine; top text block edge sprayed red. 8vo. Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed and rounded spine ends. Corners lightly rubbed and rounded, light soiling and foxing to boards. Fore and bottom text block edges moderately foxed. Previous owner's pencil name on front free endpaper. Internally there is a slight gutter strain midway through; light to moderate foxing throughout, otherwise a neat, clean, bright and tight volume.
