Fourth edition. xii, 214pp, colour frontispiece, foldout index, 34 colour plates of geological maps, 16 black and white fossil plates. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on front and spine. 12mo. Moderate wear to spine ends, corners rubbed and rounded. Small bump to front fore edge, damage to bottom corner of plate 15 (does not affect map). Text block edges lightly tanned. Light foxing and tanning to prelims. Internally pages are lightly tanned at edges otherwise a neat, clean, bright and tight volume. This fourth edition now includes the Channel Isles. All plates are double paged, also included are sections and views throughout the text.
