1st (and likely only) edition, 1st printing. In red cloth-covered boards with black titles on spine. 12mo. Cloth generally lightly worn, mildly rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, top third of backstrip somewhat dented, a few mild marks. Ex lending library, with lender's sheet taped to front free endpaper (appears to be from a private lender's library run by a bookbinder). Small pen marks on rear endpaper, where hinge is mildly cracked. A very hard to find title, from the author of Bitter Root Deadline. When Big Jim Burden of the Slash B went rustler-hunting, he captured at yellow-haired youngster with a wild gleam in his eyes. From that moment on life changed for local Sheriff Rod Seaton.
