Text block edges starting to fox, endpapers very lightly tanned. Internally a very neat, clean, bright and tight volume. Dust jacket has moderate shelf wear, with tears and small loss at spine ends and corners, mirrors book damage; not price clipped. Jazz traces the devious path of jazz music from the slave songs of the southern states of America, the blues and the marching songs in which it originated, down to the latest jazz of the twentieth century.
