xviii, 476pp. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles and design on spine, blind embossed titles and design on front. 8vo. Spine ends lightly rubbed; cloth wearing. Corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Very small marks on lower edge of front board, small bump across front joint. Text block edges tanned and foxing. Internally pages are lightly age toned with occasional spotting at edges, otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight. Vol 1 & Vol 2 were first published in one volume in 1931. This is a 1940 reprint.
