Cloth is a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine tips, top edge a little dust stained, lightly cocked. Internally neat, clean and tight. Taylor was a American writer of mystery novels, popular in her time, who also published under the pen names Freeman Dana and Alice Titon. Her Asey Mayo mysteries are perhaps the most enduring of her works, and classics of the Golden Era of crime fiction.
