Undated 256pp. Black cloth-covered boards; gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Sun-faded spine. Lightly bumped and rubbed spine ends. Very light bumping and rubbing at board edges and corners. Light mottling to rear board. Text block edge starting to fox and tan. Previous owner's name and a further gift inscription on front free endpaper (dated 1947). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has significant wear; chipping to edges; 1cm loss at spine head, 3cm loss at spine end and loss of one quarter at lower front; ink stain on interior; not price clipped.
