St Joseph edition. 578pp, with woodcut illustrations and page decorations throughout.. Bound in full black leather, with red and gilt decorations and gilt lettering front and spine. All edges gilt. Three satin ribbon markers bound in. 16mo. Light fraying to ends of ribbon markers, else in fine condition throughout. The volume is house in a presentation box; the box is worn, rubbed on edges and joints and cracked on six of its eight corners, and a little blown. A truly handsome, exquisite little volume, tactile and eye-catching as well as purposeful.
