168pp, 2 black and white photographic plates (inc. frontispiece), 2 facsimile copies of letters. Red cloth-covered boards; black titles on spine. 8vo. Rubbed and rounded spine ends, front board heavily sun-faded and mottled, corners rubbed and rounded. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges tanned. Endpapers lightly tanned. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, previous owner's name filled into 'This book belongs to' rubber stamp on title page. Internally there's occasional light tanning/foxing to page margins otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has heavy shelf wear, chipping and tears to edges, front detached at spine joint.
