54pp, tissued-guarded frontispiece. Red cloth-covered boards; black titles on front and spine; decorative endpapers. 12mo. Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed spine ends. Water damage to top edge has caused colour to bleed into top of text block edges and endpaper; does not affect text. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers and first and last pages starting to tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Account of the Bedfordshire village of Turvey, its most famous resident the Reverend Legh Richmond, the First Viscountess Mordaunt and Charles Mordaunt, Earl of Peterborough.
