132pp, some black and white photographic plates (inc. frontispiece). Green cloth-covered boards; green titles on spine; top text block edge sprayed green. 12mo. Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed spine ends. Top edges and area on rear boards darkened. Text block edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring some foxing. Dust jacket spine sun-faded, has minor loss at bottom front, some closed tears including 6cm rear bottom, creases, price clipped. The author observed and made friends with a host of wild animals including Washer the racoon, Pronghorn the antelope, Great One the sea-lion, Rex the Grey Wolf and Willie Wagtail.
