Undated. xvi, 288pp, black and white frontispiece, thirty black and white photographic plates. Grey cloth-covered boards; green titles on front and spine. 8vo. Sun-faded spine and board edges. Bumped extremities. Top text block edges foxing. Free endpapers starting to fox and tan. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper (dated 1943). Hinges stretched at endpapers; gutter cracked at title page and pages 49 and 209. Frontispiece detached and laid-in. Pages have been well thumbed but clean and complete. Over 90 black and white illustrations in text throughout.
