Volume II (of 2) only. xvi, 280pp, tissue-guarded double frontispiece, thirty black and white plates, tipped-in fold-out map at end. Blue cloth-covered boards; gilt coat of arms on front, gilt titles on spin, black endpapers; fore and top edges untrimmed. 12mo. Sun-faded spine and boards; discolouration to cloth. Spine ends and corners rubbed, cloth wearing. Volume quite loose. Chipping to fore edge of front free endpaper, some folds to bottom corner. Previous owner's name on half-title page. A couple of fold to fold-out map in rear. Otherwise, internally very neat, clean and bright.
