viii, 268pp. Fully bound in brown calf's leather with gilt decorations and lettering on spine. Marbled endpapers. Engraved frontispiece & engraved vignette on title page. Tall 32mo. Covers worn, scuffed on edges, partially cracked along front joint with minor loss at spine ends. Front hinge partially cracked. Previous owner's gift inscription on second leaf, dated 1825. Early and rear pages have some browning, staining and spotting. A neat little volume, evocative of its time.
