iv, 140pp, vii of period advertisements, black and white illustrated plate frontispiece. Light card covers; black titles on front and spine. 8vo. Covers lightly soiled and tanning around edges. Spine heavily sun-faded, reading creases, <10cm closed tears along front joint, chipping at head and <3cm section of loss as heel. Corners moderately rubbed. Text block edges heavily tanned and lightly foxed (affecting page margins), top edge dusty. Tanning around page margins. Light foxing towards very beginning and end of volume. Internally neat, clean and tight.

On Zarathustra, thinking and thought, turning points in spiritual life, knowledge of the state between death and a new birth, the problem of free will, Lazarus, etc.
