634pp, 16 coloured illustrations (including frontispiece). Red cloth-covered boards; gilt titles on front and spine; top text block edge sprayed brown/red. 4to. . Boards and spine have some light soiling. Spine and top of boards lightly sun-faded, spine ends rubbed. Edges have some slight wear and a <1cm ding where the board is visible on the bottom edge. Corners rubbed and heavily rounded. Text block ed dropped, volume quite loose. Text block edges lightly soiled and tanned. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, endpapers starting to tan, some very light soiling on front endpapers. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
