Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed corners and spine ends. Quite cocked. Text block edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Rear hinge cracked; volume tight, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. The earliest of Mrs Henry Wood's works, though not published until after her death - it demonstrates how from first to last she was influenced by firm faith and religious spirit.
