2nd edition. [8], 332 [2]. Half bound in green leather over marbled boards. Speckled edges, coloured endpapers. 8vo. Covers are heavily worn, scuffed on edges and joints, rounded at corners, heavily sunned on spine, upper portion of backstrip crumbled with some loss. Hinges cracked. Endpapers and two or three successive leaves show some old damp staining. Some faint and occasional spotting on first and last few leaves, previous owner's name on first leaf, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A worn but strong and robust volume. A collec6ion of Hazlitt's lectures on English Poets, including Spencer, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Dryden, Pope, Thomson, Cowper, Swift, Gray, etc, delivered in the early years of the 19th century.
