First edition. xiv [2] 344pp, sixteen colour plate illustrations, fifty-five monochrome plates and figures and diagrams in text. In red cloth-covered boards. 8vo. Very slightly bumped on corners. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. Plain dust jacket with paper labels front and spine. The inner flaps of the dust jacket appear to have been trimmed, somewhat clumsily. Dust jacket has been protected in a Brodart-style protective sleeve. A collection of articles relating to the life, times and cult following of St Dunstan (c.908-988), the 10th century Archbishop of Canterbury, later canonized. Very hard to find title.
