Undated but volume produced to War Economy Standards, which were in force from 1941 to 1949. 160pp, plus colour plate frontispiece and four further colour plate illustrations. In red cloth-covered boards with black titles front and spine. 12mo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little worn around spine head. Some light spotting on text block edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A rather lovely vintage volume of Marryat's semi-autobiographical novel, a gripping yarn featuring Jack Easy.
