14pp stapled booklet in plain paper wraps. 8vo. Covers a little soiled, with some gentle edge wear and curled corners. A spoken address by G Kitson Clark made in the New Technical College, Bury on 12th December 1950, to mark the centenary of the death of Sir Robert Peel, Peel having been born at Chamber Hall near Bury in 1788. With some black and white illustrations. A rare survival - Kitson Clark was a renown Peel scholar but this address presents a more personal and emotive view of the statesman than in much else of Kitson Clark's work.
