First published in 1898, this edition of the history of London's Guildhall was fully revised and brought up to date for the seventh edition in 1939[vi], 216pp, plus black and white plate illustrations, together with line drawings etc in text. In red cloth-covered boards with gilt design on front panel and gilt lettering on spine. Colour endpapers. 8vo. Boards a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little rubbed around spine and a few minor marks. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
