First edition, third impression. 136pp, with colour plate frontispiece and numerous further monochrome drawings in text. In blue cloth-covered boards with black titles front and spine. 8vo. Boards are rubbed and rounded at corners and around spine, lightly worn all over with some small, mild marks. Text block edges a tad toned. Hint of spotting on endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. The fourth book in Blyton's 'secret' series, featuring the same characters - Mike, Jack, Peggy, Nora and little Prince Paul - as Secret Island, Secret of Spriggy Holes and Secret Mountain.
