Third edition. xviii, 1,180pp. Dark red cloth-covered boards, blind embossed emblem on front, gilt titles on front, bound in red silk ribbon page marker, top edge sprayed purple, many black and white illustrations and photographs. 8vo. Some very light <3cm scratches on rear board. Corners very lightly rubbed and rounded. Bottom and fore text block edge very lightly soiled. Front free endpaper missing, front hinge stretched, Half-title page a little loose in middle. Page marker is sun-faded at top and frayed at bottom. Internally very neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine is sun-faded, small note in pen, chipping at ends. Dust jacket covers have chipping at corners, two <1cm closed tear at bottom of front cover, not price clipped.
