Undated (circa 1920s). Revised edition. 320pp. Blue cloth-covered boards, black titles and illustration on front, black titles on spine, coloured maps on endpapers. Illustrated with numerous colour plates, black and white plates and in text photographs. 12mo. Lightly rubbed spine ends, corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Text block edges dusty, starting to fox. Endpapers tanned. Rubber stamp dated 1928 on title page, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. This book aims to provide the student with an account of the world and its people, with each continent divided into its natural regions, showing the influence of the physical conditions of each region on plant life, animal life and humans.
