Undated (circa 1880s). Unpaginated. Red cloth-covered boards, colour illustration on front, gilt illustrations and decorations on front, gilt decorations on spine, black titles on front, gilt titles on spine, text block edges gilt, 24 coloured engravings. 4to. Rear board heavily water damaged and stained. Spine moderately sun-faded, 2 <1cm splits in cloth along edges, ends heavily rubbed with cloth worn through and a <2cm closed tear in cloth. Corners very heavily rubbed with cloth worn through. Cocked. Gift inscription on front free endpaper (dated 1661). Rear free endpaper absent and rear hinge stretched. Previous owner's details on last page (dated 1970). <6cm closed tear in last page of text. Tanning and foxing throughout, heaviest towards beginning and end of volume and across from illustrations, occasional light soiling throughout. Includes The Alphabet of Flowers, A Gift For a Pet, The Story of a Pie and Harry's First Voyage.
