Brown cloth-covered boards, black and red illustration on front, black and gilt illustration on front, many colour illustration plates and colour and black and white in text illustrations, green endpapers. 8vo. Boards moderately soiled and stained. Spine moderately soiled and stained, edges worn, 6cm split in cloth at spine head and front joint, ends heavily rubbed with cloth worn through. Edges lightly worn, corners heavily rubbed with cloth worn through. Text block edges tanned, top and fore-edge lightly soiled.
