Brown cloth-covered boards, red and back illustration on front, red and black titles on front, red titles on spine, several black and white illustrations, black and white illustrated plate frontispiece. 16mo. Covers heavily worn and lightly soiled with a pencil note on front and several small ink stains on rear. Spine heavily faded (affecting titles), edges worn, ends heavily rubbed with splits in the cloth. Corners moderately rubbed and rounded with cloth worn through. Text block edge heavily tanned. Front pastedown has previous owner's details in pen and an bookseller's label. Gutters stretched throughout; volume loose. Front free endpaper and copyright page has crayon scribbles. Moderate foxing and soiling throughout, heaviest towards beginning and end of volume.
