Undated. x, 230pp, 14pp of black and white illustrated plates. Orange cloth-covered boards, black border on front, black titles on spine, bottom and fore text block edges untrimmed. 4to. Boards moderately soiled, with white paint flecks. Spine moderately soiled, small splits at head, heel moderately rubbed, 12cm split in cloth at front joint at spine head. Corners heavily rubbed and rounded with cloth worn through, front corners and bottom edge of front board bumped. Text block edges heavily tanned. Volume quite loose. Front endpapers moderately tanned, rear pastedown rubbed. First and last pages heavily tanned and moderately foxed. On English table habits and customs at successive periods from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century.
